6 years of Kismet 💫

From opening our first salon in June 2019 to building out our dream space in 2021, this journey has been nothing short of wild, beautiful, and filled with lessons we never saw coming. We’ve built our clienteles, poured our hearts into every detail, and grown not just as business partners—but as a true team that can weather anything.

What started as just Meghan and Emma offering esthetic and permanent makeup services has grown into a team of eight incredibly talented beauty professionals—and together, we’ve become a full-service salon. Watching Kismet evolve into a space where others can thrive has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

We’ve survived a pandemic, shutdowns, emergency plumbing issues, wildcard clients—and yes, even a rogue rat that hitched a ride in our Christmas tree (don’t ask 😅). We’ve covered for each other without question, made executive decisions like no more candles ever, and somehow always found a way to laugh through the chaos.

We’ve cried, laughed, pushed through the hard days, and celebrated the good ones.

Through the blood, sweat, and tears, we’ve created something we’re endlessly proud of. Kismet is more than a salon—it’s a space built on grit, grace, and the kind of partnership that turns challenges into growth. And none of it would be possible without our incredible team and the support of our amazing husbands who have been behind us every step of the way.
